The Herman Miller Sayl began with a question Yves Béhar borrowed from suspension bridges: how little material do you need to give the body full support? His answer, launched in 2010, is the unframed elastomer back — a web of suspension stretched from the ArcSpan arching overhead, with no frame and no hard edges, denser exactly where your spine needs it and open everywhere else. Less material, less waste, more freedom to move — a chair built for long, focused work.
Our certified refurbished Sayl chairs are sourced from corporate offices in HCMC, deep cleaned, inspected end to end, and function-certified before sale — with worn parts replaced whenever a unit needs it. You sit in a genuine piece of Herman Miller design. We handle everything that happens before you do.

It means certified by us — and we sign our name to it. ErgoLab is an independent company, not a dealer for Steelcase, Herman Miller or Haworth. We buy from the furniture clear-outs of major companies, certify each chair in our workshop, and only then deliver it to your desk.
Every chair passes four gates:
- Intake — graded A/B/C, every defect logged, serial number photographed.
- Deep clean — cleaned, then signed off against a written checklist.
- Function test — 30 minutes in the chair: our technician cycles every mechanism; the gas lift must hold an 80 kg load for at least 10 minutes; casters, upholstery and frame checked.
- Pre-delivery — final inspection and a handover serial photo.
A chair that fails a gate twice is rejected — we don't repair it into something sellable. We replace parts only when a chair actually needs it.
